The ooTao team has been engaged in building enterprise software for longer than we care to remember. Through our early exposure to the evolving technologies in the areas of distributed identity systems and distributed data management we have understood that there is a better way to build most of the systems that are built today. With this understanding and with our passion for building the best systems that can be built we cannot help but undertake the task of spreading the word that there is a better way to do things.

Every member of our team are part of ooTao because their personal experience in the software industry and their exposure to these new ideas has convinced them that given 'the right' maturation of these standards and the right implementations of those standards has world changing potential. All of us believe that our participation in the maturation and implementation process increases the chances that these new ideas will come to fruition.

For ooTao, this is not about an academic exercise, we are implementers at heart and in practice.
